Thorpe Animal Hospital specializes in small animal medicine, surgery and dentistry, from cats and dogs to pocket pets (ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs and more). We strive to keep up to date on the continuous medical advances of the veterinary profession.
We offer comprehensive care including preventative medicine as well as diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses or problems.
A full laboratory and radiology service allows for a quick and accurate diagnosis of medical problems

allow your veterinarian to detect, treat or, ideally, prevent problems before they become life-threatening. They also provide you with the opportunity to ask your veterinarian questions about nutrition, behavior, dental health or other issues.

Dr. Marty Becker: Since pets age, on average, up to seven times faster than people, it is recommended that they get a check up twice a year. Many pet owners are not aware that taking their dog or cat to the veterinarian just once a year is equivalent to a person seeing their doctor or dentist once every seven years. You wouldn’t wait seven years to see a doctor, so don’t wait a whole year to take your pet to the veterinarian.
